Hello, i have strange problem on one of my FreeBSD 9.1 install. The server randomly hard reboots. When i look at dmesg i don't find anything, but there is a strange entry: pid 24931 (dot), uid 0: exited on signal 11 (core dumped) pid 24932 (dot), uid 0: exited on signal 11 (core dumped) pid 24935 (dot), uid 0: exited on signal 11 (core dumped) pid 24936 (dot), uid 0: exited on signal 11 (core dumped) pid 27343 (dot), uid 0: exited on signal 11 (core dumped) pid 27344 (dot), uid 0: exited on signal 11 (core dumped) pid 27347 (dot), uid 0: exited on signal 11 (core dumped) pid 27348 (dot), uid 0: exited on signal 11 (core dumped) pid 29714 (dot), uid 0: exited on signal 11 (core dumped) pid 29715 (dot), uid 0: exited on signal 11 (core dumped) pid 29727 (dot), uid 0: exited on signal 11 (core dumped) pid 29728 (dot), uid 0: exited on signal 11 (core dumped) There is also a dot.core in /root do you now what's the problem ? -- Best regards, Loïc BLOT, UNIX systems, security and network expert http://www.unix-experience.fr
