In the boot loader, before booting the kernel, try: set isp_mem_map=0xff Eg, you'd do this at this point in the boot: setting affinity to the primary CPU jumping to bootstrap code Console: SRM firmware console VMS PAL rev: 0x1001100010130 OSF PAL rev: 0x100100002012c Switch to OSF PAL code succeeded. FreeBSD/alpha SRM disk boot, Revision 0.1 (root@bacon.cs.duke.edu, Fri Feb 18 15:49:12 EST 2000) Memory: 655360 k Hit [Enter] to boot immediately, or any other key for command prompt.
