I don't normally do this, but this time I must. Having had the opportunity to play with about a dozen laptops in the last 6-7 years, I am in complete agreement with Geoff. Once I got past the difficulty in using the nipple-pointer, I can't use anything else. It's akin to using the 'Natural' keyboards so prevalent now. The first couple weeks of using them is awful, but once you get used to them (and the pain goes away), you try not to use anything else. IBM laptop keyboards (aside from layout) are one of the nicest made (they have a good feel to them), so I continue to make them my #1 laptop product. (Thank goodness they fixed the BIOS problem, since otherwise I would have had to start looking for a new vendor...)
