It is ironic that the whole reason this was introduced was to avoid a POLA in that if I had left sendmail_enable=NO to mean don't start any daemons[1], that would have meant all outbound and local mail would have stayed in clientmqueue forever. [1] Note that even before I touched this, sendmail_enable=NO didn't mean don't start any sendmail daemons. This was broken when Peter added sendmail_outbound_enable.
