Is it possible to document this somewhere? This and also "Do not ever
set GREP_OPTIONS to '-E' as it causes buildworld failures and 'make
checksum' in the ports to fail as well!

Perhaps in the Handbook, in the ports-trouble section. Oh well, I might
just as well file a PR to docs!
