i have been running something carried over from bsdi called 'areacode' for many years. # BSDI areacode.sh,v 2.1 1995/02/03 08:39:58 polk Exp # inspired by Dan Jacobson it is a script and two text databases so you can look up telephone area codes forwards and reverse. the databases are +1 201 NJ N New Jersey: Jersey City, Hackensack (see 973) 202 DC Washington, D.C. 203 CT Connecticut (see 860) 204 CAN Manitoba and non +1 # Country Code : City Code : City : Country # @(#)inter.phone 8.1 (Berkeley) 6/9/93 7:095:Moscow:Russia 7:44:Kiev:Ukraine 7:::Georgia 20:2:Cairo:Egypt as you can see, my databases are a bit out of date, to say the least. i can not find it in the port tree, and i am not sure how to find more current data. with current data, i would create a port. clues? randy
