I don't know if Makefile for > the linux-flashplugin6 should make this or isn't working, but I > thought I would share my solutions. same symptoms here, except 1.5 is my first firefox install. so i did portupgrade -f linux-flashplugin-6.0r79_3 linuxpluginwrapper-20051113 then i softlinked libflashplayer.so & flashplayer.xpt into /usr/X11R6/lib/browser_plugins per above killed and restarted firefox, but about:plugins does not show flash :-( btw, know where i can get a nice gnome launcher icon for ff? randy
