Let me summarize for my own benefit: 1) when you put "apache2_enable="YES" in /etc/rc.conf and reboot, nothing happens. 2) when you run "/usr/local/etc/rc.d/apache22.sh start" manually ... ???? 3) when you run "/usr/local/sbin/httpd <arguements>", apache starts. Have I misunderstood? And what are the applicable contents of /var/log/httpd-*.log? Robert Huff
