Hi folks, I've been following along with the ports freeze and upgrade procedure for Xorg 7.2, etc. I was reading UPDATING and saw When packages are available (wait for the announcement on ports@), you may prefer to use precompiled packages to speed up the process: # portupgrade -aP Has this announcement been made? If so, I just "missed it" .... just wondering if it's an OK thing now to try and do this upgrade with precompiled packages to save myself boatloads of time..... Thanks, and thanks to all developers for making this cool upgrade happen! -Jr -- John & Jennifer Reynolds johnjen at reynoldsnet.org www.reynoldsnet.org Structural/Physical Design - some group - Intel jreynold at sedona.ch.intel.com Running FreeBSD since 2.1.5-RELEASE.
