I was a little surprised to find that the files changed within 20 minutes of when I checked them out. I didn't nuke the object dir - it is used for editing the shell file. We have zillions of empty object dirs anyway. Most are for man pages that are now built at built (just compressed) at install time. I think even compression is worth doing at build time, so I want these directories left alone. Bruce
