There were times when there were xdm-des and xdm-nodes in the XF86 distrib. Has DES code been taken out of xdm or what is the reason for this. I'm asking because I'm helping a person who cannot login through his xdm prompter and the des/nodes difference came to mind. -Chris Christoph P. U.
