The ethernet II header consists of:
6 bytes destination address | 6 bytes source address | 2 bytes protocol type.
eg: ip, ipx, etc
The ethernet 802.3 header consists of:
6 bytes destination address | 6 bytes source address | 2 bytes packet length.
