A couple of weeks ago somebody mentioned "cmu-snmp" which I found (I think) in /incoming on freefall. With very little whacking I was able to get it built and put together a couple of csh scripts that periodically scan a few remote servers (NT, if you must know) and alert me in the even of an error on 'em. T'was truly a trivial exercise - about two hours total, and I don't have a clue as to what I'm doing. ;-) As far as an snmpd on FreeBSD, I'm planning on looking at same in the near future, so keep me posted if you discover any tips for doing so. : Date: Mon, 11 Dec 1995 04:50:31 -0500 (EST) : From: "Marc G.
