Well, having had a _very_ short and satisfying conversation with RSI's technical support people, I'm extremely pleased to announce that the Linux version of RSI's IDL (Interactive Data Language) is working properly under FreeBSD-current. Until Peter's recent changes, the demo worked, but the license manager refused to accept valid keys. This is no longer the case. Hats off to Peter and Soren; looks like I owe a few beers around the place!
