Neither of them. It stopped at same place after ``Slow NFS'' option applied. stand/ls hanging I downloaded everything again this morning. Beware, I reinstalled 2.1.0 under exactly same situation, everything went smoothly. So, please check what causes this problem. Also, the last message was not forward to you is that I have sucessfully installed 2.2-960323 SNAP via ftp. So, it is not 3Com 509B problem. It also is NOT a particular 509B or motherboard issue since I have tried on three different motherboard (Intel, AUSU, and Opti), and all resulted the same -- most time it stopped after stand/ls loaded and a few times soppped after the Network interface initialized. -Jin } >As Jin Guojun[ITG] wrote: } >> } >> 3Com 509B ether card } > } >The 3c509 ain't the best card performance-wise.
