Adding a second reply, I think I'd like a text-processing category in ports (didn't you suggest something like this a while ago?) for things like glimpse, isearch, rman, unroff and at least some of the stuff in print which is concerned with text _formatting_ instead of printing (TeX and friends, makeindex, ...). BTW, print/texinfo can go, we have the latest version in the base system. tg
