as we found for Intel EE pro/100 in fbsd2.2-G full duplex not supported ...
in half duplex mode speed up to 4 MByte/sec (via ftp  fbsd<->solaris[sparc])

one problem: soft/hard reset of HUB lead to card freezing (driver?)
after reboot all ok ...
