You can't do that, because it destroys the ability to checkout a version of the sources from before the move -- which, after all, is the whole point of CVS. If you really don't want any of the history, then I'd suggest not fetching the repository. Just use CVSup in checkout mode with "tag=." and keep yourself up-to-date with -current.
