how speedy they were, say on dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/ccdX bs=256k?
We've made table some months ago and sent it out, - we achieved 36mb/s on
4x9Gb Seagate UW Barracuda's, which were placed on 2 3940 adaptecs.

Maybe anyone else have some kind of statistics?
