I've desperately tried to get TIS's telnet-gw working, but failed so far. It connects to some hosts, but gets confused about whether to turn on echo or not (so sometimes, it echoes passwords), or you can hit enter after typing the login name, and the gated telnet server issues another login prompt etc. I've looked into the source -- and don't get a clue out of it. Telnet itself is terrible, and this telnet-gw doesn't look very bright either... So does anybody have a working telnet proxy server around? -- J"org Wunsch Unix support engineer joerg_wunsch@interface-business.de http://www.interface-business.de/~j
