Ahh, you said the dirty word, NFS. NFS stands for 'No Freaking Security', so if you're using NFS, you've already given up any chance of security. Making a bunch of changes to make the NFS folks happy seems silliness, given that for 'secure' sites it won't buy anything and only require lots of un-necessary changes to the system. Nate
