Hi,
does anybody know if FIPS works with FAT32 file systems? I have a friend who
would like to use FreeBSD, but his computer uses FAT32 and he gets the
message "Error: Unknown Filesystem: OBh". I remember reading somewhere that
FreeBSD won't work at all on a Harddrive that has FAT32 partitions. Is there
any way to convert a FAT32 file system to a normal FAT file system? If not,
and the only option is it reformat and partition, will the standard format
program still make FAT systems, not just FAT32?
thanks,
Daniel Keller
