You will need to change the mother board because of a slight different voltage for MMX chips. However, as for the MMX chip, FreeBSD won't even notice the difference. MMX is a set of chip burned instructions supposedly good for Multimedia. Nothing for FreeBSD to worry about. Except for a different cache, no increase on speed. Regards, Mario Ferreira.
