I see that python, exmh and scotty have been fixed. Please make sure to follow the instructions below, especially the part about deleting tcl.h/tk.h from /usr/include and /usr/local/include. Satoshi ------- Date: Wed, 27 Aug 1997 01:22:08 -0700 (PDT) To: ports@freebsd.org CC: committers@freebsd.org Subject: ports broken by recent tcl/tk changes From: asami@cs.berkeley.edu (Satoshi Asami) Folks, This is the list of ports that no longer compile on a stock 2.2-stable or 3.0-current machine (e.g., installed directly from the snapshots). Note that there is no tcl-7.5 in 2.2-stable anymore, and tcl-8.0b2 in 3.0-current no longer install /usr/include/tcl.h, /usr/libdata/tcl/tclConfig.sh or /usr/lib/libtcl80.so.1.0. Also, to make no version of tcl/tk "take over" a machine, there is no {tcl,tk}.h link in /usr/local/include and no {tcl,tk}Config.sh link in /usr/local/lib. Everything is under version-specific directories. Please change the ports to work with the setup described above, as 2.2.5 is looming over the horizon and we need to get these fixed in less than a month. Try to get them to work on higher versions (up to 8.0/8.0) as possible, but you don't have to bend over backwards if it's too hard -- if it works for 7.5/4.1, that is fine. Thanks!
