Uh, there is a big chunk of address space, previously identified as "class-A" addresses, available. If you're going to worry about reasons for moving to IPv6, address space exhaustion in the next few years isn't one of them. The problem isn't running out of addresses, it keeping the global routing table size from exploding due to non-aggregatable routes.
