Well, the only way you can currently do this is with the ccd driver.
It's not as simple as it sounds, though:
1. You can't mirror the root file system.
2. If one of your drives goes down, you need to reboot and
reconfigure to use the other one.
I'm working on a replacement which will solve problem (2) (and a whole
lot of other stuff), but it'll be a while before problem (1) is fixed.

Welcome! I'm afraid my answers *aren't* as specific as you'd like.
One of the reasons is because configuring ccd is like pulling teeth.
Another is that I hope you'll use my driver when it's finished.
