On the previous occasion, the problem was with the Intel AL440LX board; they claim to have a fix in production. You may want to agitate Micronics to see if they plan to update their BIOS. The bug is in violation of one of the fundamental standards that governs boot time operations on PC systems; I can forward you the mail I exchanged with Intel over this issue if you have a mind to pursue it. -- \\ Sometimes you're ahead, \\ Mike Smith \\ sometimes you're behind. \\ mike@smith.net.au \\ The race is long, and in the \\ msmith@freebsd.org \\ end it's only with yourself. \\ msmith@cdrom.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-smp" in the body of the message
