I have problem to setup the supra internal modem for the FreeBSD 2.2.5 ( Supra 336i SP ). I believe my BIOS and internal modem card support PnP. Since FreeBSD 2.2.5 does not support PnP, I am thinking to probe certain port manually at the boot up time. I recompile the kernel to probe for com1, com2, com3, com4 , but cannot find any connection to 03F8, 02F8 03E8, 02E8 Is there any way to detect which port and irq the internal modem is using? So I can key in during the boot -c ========================== CP Fong at ECE Dept.
