Emacs has menus, and it supports the cursor keys.  In addition, it
supports a lot of alternate key combinations which are harder to learn
but easier to use when you have done.  See "The Complete FreeBSD",
second edition (http://www.cdrom.com/titles/os/bsdbook2.htm), page
238-240.
