I am trying to use VAT to talk betwee 2 FreeBSD machines. I have read the man page, and I am afraid I am still at a loss as to how to use it in it's simplest form. When I run vat with no options, it prompts me for a destination. When I run it with the other machines name, it starts up a window that as soon as I place it goes awau, and I get an message in the window I started it from saying I need to enter a port number also. Couls some kind soul give me a quick pointer on how to use it just as an intecom?
