Does the following answer your question ? 00:47:35 /u2/users/pb $ uname -a FreeBSD fasterix.frmug.fr.net 3.0-CURRENT FreeBSD 3.0-CURRENT #90: Sat May 2 13:28:52 CEST 1998 pb@fasterix.frmug.fr.net:/u2/usr/src/sys/compile/ASTERIX i386 00:47:39 /u2/users/pb $ ping6 ::1 trying to get source for ::1 source should be ::1 PING ::1 (::1): 56 data bytes 64 bytes from ::1: icmp6_seq=0 ttl=255 time=0.251 ms 64 bytes from ::1: icmp6_seq=1 ttl=255 time=0.146 ms ^C --- ::1 ping statistics --- 2 packets transmitted, 2 packets received, 0% packet loss round-trip min/avg/max = 0.146/0.198/0.251 ms I've ported the INRIA stuff to -current a while ago. Patches are available at ftp://frmug.org/pub/ipv6/ (patches to -current as of beginning of April 1998). I haven't had time to make a release recently based on a more recent -current, but will give it a try soon (hopefully before next Monday). Now regarding integrating this in "official" -current, that's another matter entirely of course. Regarding the crypto stuff, I believe someone in England has written patches to implement the missing stuff in the INRIA implementation, but haven't tried this yet. All I can say is that all the hooks are there already. -- Pierre Beyssac pb@fasterix.frmug.org pb@fasterix.freenix.org {Free,Net,Open}BSD, Linux : il y a moins bien, mais c'est plus cher Free domains: http://www.eu.org/ or mail dns-manager@EU.org To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-net" in the body of the message
