Hi:

Is there a way I can create a dynamic file? What I want is that when a
program opens a file (using fopen), a pipe gets created to a program. I
can do this if the program uses popen, but I can't modify the code.

Example:
My mailer (elm) opens ~/.sig using fopen. I have a program that
automatically generates my signature. I want the output of that program
treated as my signature.
