Using Kernel 2.0.33 and AIC7xxx v 5.0.13 I got the following error when writing to a tape: (on a 2940A SCSI card) st3: Error with sense data: extra data not valid Deferred error st09:03:sns = 71 3 ASC= 9 ASCQ= 0 Raw sense data:0x71 0x00 0x03 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x0e 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x000x090x00 0x02 0x00st3: Error on write filemark. Can anyone tell me more information that just 'an error' occuring during writing? Derek L.
