I keep getting requests from users and ISPs on using dummynet as a bandwidth manager. The code seems to be reasonably robust (except perhaps when used with nat, but i can iron out the remaining bugs with relative ease i think), and i haven't received bug reports lately (and i know for sure that there are at least 3 users out there using it extensively). So how about including it in the 2.2.7 distribution ? The patches I have apply cleanly to 2.2.6, and i can make them work on stable with relative ease. cheers luigi -----------------------------+-------------------------------------- Luigi Rizzo | Dip. di Ingegneria dell'Informazione email: luigi@iet.unipi.it | Universita' di Pisa tel: +39-50-568533 | via Diotisalvi 2, 56126 PISA (Italy) fax: +39-50-568522 | http://www.iet.unipi.it/~luigi/ _____________________________|______________________________________ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-net" in the body of the message
