Hi all I was wondering if there was a way to deactivate the console screen saver from within a program. By deactivate, I don't mean disable, but switch off until the idle period elapses, when it can kick in again. A crude approach may be to unload the module and then reload it, but perhaps there is a better way (other than adding a new ioctl/sysctl to the kernel). Any ideas, anyone?
