Is there any particular reason that start_if is evaluated before the primary ifconfig stmt in rc.conf? I have been using the rc.conf to set the 'primary' address of a web server and then using start_if to set all the aliases. Unfortunately, due to the order of evaluation of the start_if file and the primary ifconfig stmt in rc.conf the result is that the first alias stmt in start_if is deleted/negated. joe To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
