I recently installed a new FreeBSD 2.2.7 out of the CD-box. When I run xcalc and xfontsel (these two are the only I tested) I get very strange results. The calculator looks like a little box with some lines in it. No controls or so. xfontsel looks like a couple of boxes with some text in it. The Quit button is a rectangle with the text quitButton and so on. The error message I get is: Warning: app-defaults file not properly installed. I can see no difference between this installation and all the others I've done. All other installations have so far worked without any complications. -- regards, Gunnar email: flygt@sr.se To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
