I've noticed that FreeBSD 2.2.7-Release has some new output from /etc/daily: main login failures: Sep 8 16:04:56 main login: 2 LOGIN FAILURES ON ttyp0 Sep 8 16:04:56 main login: 2 LOGIN FAILURES ON ttyp0, hans main refused connections: I really like the added feature, but am wondering how to clear message above? It has been placed in the output of /etc/daily now for a week. I appreciate the fact that /etc/daily now displays this, but I do not think it is necessary to have it display the same message over and over again.
