I need some recommendations on 128Mb SDRAM memory for
an Asus P2B-DS.

Its stable at 100MHz bus speed with one processors.
Its unstable at 100MHz bus speed with two processors.
Its stable at 83MHz bus speed with two processors.

This is with only the CPU, memory and scsi disk
installed and I've swapped all the components so I know
all the parts are good.

I've seen references to CAS2 and CAS3 memory. My SDRAM
reports (via SPD) to be CAS3. That's supposed to run
at 100MHz. Asus's web page lists only a single NEC
part number for 128 Mb DIMMS (NEC D4564841G5-A10-9JF)
and I hesistate to try and order it since it might be
stale information.

Can anyone suggest any models or part numbers?

Thanks,
Rich
