I've been going back and forth between running a July Snapshot of 2.2.6-STABLE with CAM support, and running 3.0. The issue at hand is that I need to be able to run an Adaptec 2940U2W, hence the need for CAM support. However, one of my main objectives of this server will be to build 2.2.6 [CAM not required at this point] images with some local device drivers and enhancements. Therefore, I'm looking for some feedback as to what "makes the most sense". My options are: 1.) Use 3.0 as a server, and build an ELF 2.2.6. 2.) Use 3.0 as a server, and build 2.2.6 with -aout specified. 3.) Use 2.2.6-STABLE with CAM support to build 2.2.6. 4.) Build a machine sans the 2940U2Ws, and use 2.2.X. -Brian To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
