sorry to barge in, like this ... also, merry christmass and happy new year to
all at freebsd-doc.

i'm using this question to springboard into a topic that ti close to my heart
and an answer would hellp alot of people with similar problems.

in short, i have dsyslexia, this is a reading 'disoder' that makes it hard to
read and even harder to understand what one has read because each dsylexic has
their own 'language' that can also change on a daily basis.

my question has multiple partsm but the simple version is, is thier a spelling
checker that has a 'trainable' spelling checking algotithm ? what i mean is
something like .. er um, a spell checker that will take a dsylex'd or speld
word and replace it with the correct spelling.

most common dsyxlexia centers around letter reversals, pairs particular to teh
individual are seemlessly replace. for example i commonly replace "the" with
"teh", when i proof my documents i done 'see' the 'teh' i see teh word "t" "h"
"e", its a bit hard to explain .. its like i know how 'the' is spelt, that is
what i see, quite literaly.

i realise, that this is not a good example. most spelling checker take
normally dsylexed words and mangle then right out of teh ball park, because
most spelling checker alogortihms rely on this one piece of knowledge. this
being that misspelt words are mistyped. dsylexic's don't misstype a word they
'miss-see' the letter on the page.

pointers, suggestions ... etc, would be most apreciated. desperately, please.

regards

jonathan
