not with cdrecord, sorry. my only experience is with wormcontrol and
the "acd" driver on an HP CDRW device.
In any case if you have a CDR media (2$ each) you have probably fried
it, if you have a CDRW media (20$ each) you should be able to "blank"
it using wormcontrol.
