Hi, I'm having troubles with this combo and 3.0-RELEASE. The dmesg output should be pretty self-explanatory; on boot the system has difficulty with the Sony CD-R and eventually times out. This drive and controller are both known to work under other OSes (Linux,OpenBSD,Win98). Here's my dmesg output: (Note that this also happened under the generic kernel - I tried recompiling, to no avail). Can anyone direct me on how to proceed? Copyright (c) 1992-1998 FreeBSD Inc.
