That'll do it. :-) I've used CMDs controllers with Adaptec host adapters and FreeBSD for an extended period of time, and have had no problems with them. The application in which I used these devices was an ISP - for primary storage. Trust me when I tell you that if there were implementation "funnies" I would have found them. With that said, I HAVE seen SCSI I/O errors - usually due to either power trouble or bad termination - in the past.
