Not absolutely sure, but I do not think they are a problem.

If these are using the default MSDOS formating that they come with,
you need to,

# mount -t msdos /dev/da2s4 /mnt

That is, mount slice 4. Look at its fdisk to see why. Personally, any
Jaz drive that I will be using exclusively on FreeBSD, I reformat with
UFS.
