Did you have tex installed before you started? Yeah, that's the whole point, I want make JADETEX=yes ;) And yes, I build teTeX-1.0.6 before I tried my hand at jadetext/docproj compilation. The pkg/PLIST even lists that tex.fmt should be installed, but here it doesn't.
