In the v3.3 kernel on my TP560, I'm using the snd0 (the old Voxware code). I had Luigi's pcm0 working with v2.2.8. As I recall, I tried the pcm0 as well, trying to get something working, but both the Voxware and the pcm0 didn't work with it (and darned if I can recall what that was). I'm just running the snd0 because that's what I landed on after testing. From my config file: ... controller snd0 #device pas0 at isa? port 0x388 irq 10 drq 6 device sb0 at isa? port 0x220 irq 5 drq 1 #device sbxvi0 at isa? drq 5 #device sbmidi0 at isa? port 0x330 The sbxvi0 and sbmidi0 isn't found anyways. My sound "test" is being able to run "xanim", YMMV. Hope this helps, K^2 -- Ken Key (key@Network-Alchemy.com) Network Alchemy, Santa Cruz, CA > Thanks to everyone who sent email regarding my x-windows struggle. I > now have KDE running perfectly.
