He basicly said that anyone still running 4.* was in serious trouble. Only known actively exploited serious security problems are being fixed in the bind 4.9.* tree :/ (of course this was just before half a dozen of us sat in the bar with wavelan cards upgrading to 8.2.2pl4 because of security problems :/) On the upside, bind 9 is a completly from scratch rewrite and there should be a public beta in a few months.
