I'm trying to configure my refuse files so as to not receive files such those in the russian directories. I'm failing. Here's the output from my cvsup session: # tail -f /var/log/cvsup.log CVSup update begins at 1999/11/19 16:43:16 Updating from cvsup-master.freebsd.org Connected to cvsup-master.freebsd.org "data" should be a directory, but is a symlink to a directory -- check your prefix setting Updating collection www/current Rsync data/ru/FAQ/troubleshoot.html Interrupted CVSup update ends at 1999/11/19 16:43:33 In the above, it's updating files located at /usr/local/etc/cvsup/prefixes/FreeBSD-www.current/data/ru I've tried various refuse file filenames: refuse refuse.cv and locations: /usr/local/etc/cvsup/prefixes/ /usr/local/etc/cvsup/prefixes/FreeBSD-www.current/ /usr/local/etc/cvsup/prefixes/FreeBSD-www.current/data/ And various refuse file contents: /ru/* data/ru* data/ru/* www/data/ru/* www/ru/* */ru/* data/ru/* data/ru* www/ru www/ru* www/ru/* www/current/ru* www/current/ru/* current/ru* current/ru/* www/current/data/ru* www/current/data/ru/* current/data/ru* current/data/ru* *data/ru* But I still keep getting the ru data. Bah. What am I doing wrong? cheers -- Dan Langille - DVL Software Limited The FreeBSD Diary - http://www.freebsddiary.org/freebsd/ NZ FreeBSD User Group - http://www.nzfug.nz.freebsd.org/ The Racing System - http://www.racingsystem.com/racingsystem.htm unix @ home - http://www.unixathome.org/ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
