You obviously didn't *_READ_* /usr/src/UPDATING. You obviously haven't been *_READING_* this mailing list. You obviously haven't *_READ_* the past 1-2 months of archives looking for "HEADS UP" messages. I would suggest staying at 3-STABLE. 4-CURRENT is for developers that have the time and ability to follow this list, and read the documentation provided.
